here is an invitational, redemptive, Cross-given,
shining bridge of light from God to man.
From God’s first utterance of, “Let there be
light”, to sunlight’s glow,
To Christ created diamonds placed on the coal black velvet
robes of night,
To the moons soft blanket of spherical snow,
To the protective pillars of God-sent glory after He freed
His children from the cruel and wicked Egyptian woes
By a God-sent freedom flight.
By day, our God led His people by a Holy, fragrant, cloudy
pillar of majestic hope.
By night, God led His children by His protective guiding
pillar of Holy fire to give them light.
And every day He provided His people with the food of
angels, light-filled manna from Heaven to sustain and
strengthen His chosen people to walk in all His light-filled ways.
We see the brilliant, beauty-filled glory of our Triune God
as He transformed Moses and Elijah into a receptacle of
Christ’s resplendent light.
We see God’s exquisite beauty-filled light in the recurring
Christmas Star of Bethlehem whether shining brightly
in the hearts of all believers or sent to shine brightly in
the midst of a sin-filled, morally corrupt contemporary
night.
For the Architect of the Star of Bethlehem guides all to the
true Christmas star, Jesus Christ our Savior,
Redeemer, Friend, Pursuer of all, King of Kings, and Lord
of Lords, Author, and Perfector of our eternal salvation.
There is an invitational, redemptive, Cross-given, shining
bridge of light from God to man.
