5 – I Will Overcome!
We have an enemy who wants to tear
our house down; destroy our marriage;
kill our faith; and steal our children. Just
say;no.;No,;you;can’t;have;my;children.
No;you;can’t;have;my;marriage.;No,;you
won’t destroy my faith. And then say yes
to;Jesus;Christ;who;gives;you;strength
to do all things. Rise up and overcome.
Overcoming means there is a struggle to
break through and that usually happens
on your knees. There are many blessings for an overcoming life. You can and
you will be an overcomer through Him
who overcame all things for you! Rise up
from the mist and see the glory of God
revealed in your life as you overcome.
A. W. Tozer says it eloquently:
“O God, I have tasted Thy goodness,
and it has both satisfied me and made
me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need for further grace. I am
ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, the
Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to
be filled with longing; I thirst to be made
more thirsty still. Show me Thy glory, I
pray Thee, so that I may know Thee indeed. Begin in mercy a new work of love
within me. Say to my soul, ‘Rise up my
love, my fair one, and come away.’ Then
give me grace to rise and follow Thee up
from this misty lowland where I have
wandered so long.”

If you have these five resolutions in
place, you will find success and favor
from God for every other endeavor in
your life. You will no longer need to give
yourself pep talks or deride yourself for
your failures. You will live an abundant
and;victorious;life;in;Christ;who;has;giv-en you all that you need to live a Godly
life through your simple knowledge of
Him;and;His;Word.;He;is;your;strength,
your power, your perseverance, your
righteousness! Put Him on before you
begin;your;day,;and;He;will;give;you;His
mind over your matter of homeschool-ing.;He;loves;you;and;your;children,;and
delights in your obedience. Don’t let the
thought of the new school year cause you
to give up; don’t let the failures of our
past cause you to hang your head down;
get up and look up and follow Him as
you keep His children Home Where
They Belong.
