Was geography a forgotten subject in your education? Do you
want to be able to read current events and literature with an
immediate mental picture of the locations?
Classical Conversations has the perfect tool for you! The
Trivium Tables: Geography series offers a three-cycle program
in world geography. Each week for 24 weeks, your students will
locate and memorize approximately five locations that have
impacted history.
The Trivium Tables fold up for easy storage so that you can
even practice your geography on the go! The sturdy, washable
surface allows students to re-use the maps over and over as
they review.
In our weekly communities, students ages 4–13 study on
maps. Visit our website, www.ClassicalConversations.com, to
learn more about joining us. If you can’t join a community, you
can use this great tool at home.
Practice the secrets of the one-room schoolhouse by using
the maps with children of all ages. The youngest students can
place raisins on the pre-labeled maps. Middle elementary students can trace them with dry-erase markers. Older elementary students can create maps with tracing paper. Finally, your
junior and senior high school students can use the blank maps
as a model while they freehand their own maps.
Geography of the Fifty States (grades 3–12) provides a unique
approach to geography! Students learn U.S. geography (
regions, landforms, states, capitals, and geographical terms)
while covering interesting information about the geography
of each state, and all in the context of U.S. history. States are
presented in order of statehood. State work-pages cover land
regions, geographical features, major cities, and interesting
trivia! Overview Lessons correlate our country’s pattern of
growth by statehood with U.S. geographical regions so the student sees how geography helped to shape history! Tests, answer
keys, teacher instructions, and suggested schedules are included. Use alone, or combine with Fifty States Under God and/or
State History from a Christian Perspective (for your state) for a
one- or two-year history/geography study.
Click on “Available Discounts” to learn how to get half-price
shipping, then watch our short video for a quick overview of
our courses. For age 3–grade 2 we also offer Fifty States Under
God for Young Learners, a color-cut-paste introduction to the
50 states in order of statehood, and My State History Funbook, a
color-cut-paste introduction to the student’s own state. Call for
information on Support Group or School discounts!
