At Write Foundations, we are passionate about helping our
students learn to write well for the glory of God. Our Guided
Journals spark creativity in younger students to make writing
a positive experience. Weekly topics and daily writing prompts
are designed to teach writing without the tears. Plus, each daily
lesson includes a Bible verse for students to copy and a page for
artwork. The flipbook style with the coil binding along the top
makes it a perfect workbook for both right- and left-handed
students, as well as a presentation book for showing off their
work. This easy-to-use program engages students and develops
multiple skills at one time.
For our 6th–12th grade students, we offer comprehensive writing instruction in a flexible online format. Experienced writing coaches work one-on-one with students to help them develop excellent writing skills and prepare them for success in
high school, college classes, and standardized tests. Our classes
and individualized programs feature engaging assignments
and an interdisciplinary approach that connects the writing
process to the student’s interests. Check out our free writing
resources at www.writefoundations.com, or call us for more
information at 815-501-8922. Mention TOS and receive a student evaluation and consultation free (a $75 value)!
Writing With Sharon Watson

You want your students to be able to communicate clearly and
in writing, but how do you get them there?
With this approachable, comprehensive curriculum, your
students will learn practical writing skills such as how to organize their thoughts, introduce a topic, order their points, write
thesis statements, cite sources, persuade readers, proofread
their work, and much more. Whether eager or reluctant, beginners or accomplished, students will benefit from these conversational, incremental, practical lessons.
Take the sting out of writing. Students practice with essay
parts before writing an essay, and they breathe easier with the
suggested writing schedules and assignment checklists. No
guessing. No sweating. No last-minute rush to the due date.
One student confessed: “I started out not liking to write.
Now this is my favorite subject.”
After completing The Power in Your Hands: Writing Nonfic-
tion in High School, another student reported: “This course has
made a huge impact on my writing. Everyone who has read my
work before this course and after agrees.”
Grading is made much easier with the accompanying
teacher guides, which walk you through how-to-grade sec-
tions crammed with examples, evaluation forms, and assign-
ment checklists.
Don’t let another year slide by without this solid writing
curriculum!
