Special Feature: Smoky Mountains
By Sherri Murr
Wilderness at the Smokies . . . resort
includes two lodges, two outdoor
water parks, one indoor water park,
arcades, restaurants, gift shops, and
The Sevierville Golf Club.
There’s a chill in the air, vibrant colors abound, and my home is filled with the aroma of cin- namon and cloves. Yes, it’s fall.
I thoroughly enjoy the scenery on the
drive to the apple orchard, viewing God’s
colorful creation in our fall nature walks,
picking that perfect pumpkin for our
pies, and all the other family activities we
enjoy during this time of year. However,
I’m always a little sad for summer break
to be over. By the time the days start getting cool and short, a part of me already
misses the pool and the shore. If only
there were a place I could go for summer
fun any time of the year . . .
Well, fortunately there is, and it’s not
too far from where I live! I just returned
home from spending a few days there.
It’s an especially nice place to visit in the
fall when those already gorgeous Smoky
Mountains are displaying vibrant shades
of red, orange, and golden yellow.
