we see goals that we dared not dream a
year;ago—reached;and;exceeded.
That;is;not;to;say,;however,;that;profit
is;always;fluffy,;business;runs;perfectly
smoothly, and entrepreneurial life is
pure;serenity.;Oh,;no.;When;the;grass-
fed beef decide to tangle themselves in
the;commercial;lawn;equipment;and;rav-
age;the;year’s;heirloom;garden,;all;while
disrupting music lessons and bristling
neighborly relations, the family busi-
ness idea is far from rosy. Through it all,
though,;God;is;honored;first;and;fore-
most, children are taught what it means
to let God lead in business and econom-
ics,;and;the;family;grows,;not;just;as;in-
dividuals, but as a unit.
For the present, we have found our
niche,;our;very;own;entrepreneurial;suc-
cess, but it was only after many failed
attempts and lessons learned. As a
20-year-old;young;woman,;it;is;reassuring
to know that no matter what direction our
country;takes,;no;matter;what;corporate
America;chooses;to;ask,;ban,;or;impose,
Christian families like yours and ours are
not;forced;to;comply.;There;is;a;means;for
livelihood that allows us to stand faithful
to;a;Biblical;foundation.;Who;knows;what
might;happen;when;the;homeschooling
family;sets;to;an;entrepreneurial;experi-
ment?;When;God;is;the;goal;and;family;is
the center, wheels are set into motion for
awesome success.
