. . . Cleaning is not about showmanship or hygiene, but it’s about giving
God the glory through taking care of what has been entrusted to us.
Let’s face it. Cleaning a home is hard work, but keeping a home clean is a lot of hard work! For most people, the general perception about a clean home is that there is
a person inside who loves to clean. On
occasion, this opinion may be true, but
for the rest of us, the thought of cleaning
takes a back burner to other activities.
There is one truth that I have found about
keeping a home clean: what’s important is
not how well I clean or how often I clean
but my purpose for doing it, doing it well,
and doing it for God’s glory.
One of the things I love about God is
that He is a God of Order. He made the
world in perfect order. He made our bod-
ies in perfect order. Design and order are
reflected in everything God has made.
